“Hello, I am Ann. Humbly serving the great people in Shawano and the surrounding areas.
I am a mother of five beautiful children, 12 grandchildren, and owner of Pure Essence Salon & Spa. Years of experience have been beneficial in helping me understand the importance of taking care of yourself, both inside and out. I believe in balance: Love, service, rest, work, play and worship.
I have been in the beauty industry for 40+ years and have incorporated the holistic approach to beauty and wellness. I have a passion for learning and because I believe knowledge is key, this knowledge allows me to customize every service. I specialize in facials that target anti-aging techniques and acne along with full body waxing. My goal is to create a personal, one of a kind experience for each guest individually.
When I am not in the spa, you will often see me outside enjoying the sun, preferably on the water, spending time with my beautiful family, or on the back of our Harley taking in God‘s masterpiece.

As a business owner who loves to both work & play hard, I know how important it is to take care of yourself. My chair is a place you can feel relaxed & special.
I have been a stylist since 2005 & immediately found my home here at Pure Essence. I love the women I work with. The energy & camaraderie we have here is what makes this a dream job.
I specialize in all things hair color. From grey coverage to low maintenance blonde – I believe in hair color that fits your lifestyle. I often describe myself as “vanilla” as I’m drawn to things classic & timeless – building on the natural beauty God gave each of us.
When I’m not at work I love to soak up the summer sun at a Brewer game, sing my heart out at a local karaoke spot or travel to new places! I would love to swap stories with you & hear about your adventures!

As a mama of four, including twins, I am a walking advocate of how important it is to feel beautiful, heard and relaxed in an environment that is stress-free. I want you to leave feeling refreshed, unique and more confident than ever before.
I have been in the industry since 2013, though it feels like a lifetime as I followed in some family footsteps. I love blonding services as well as spa treatments and enjoy expanding my knowledge in all things beauty at least two times annually.
When I’m not in the salon, I am often caught spending time soaking up the summer rays by the water, creating memories with my ever so large extended family, or challenging myself with a DIY project that usually takes up most of winter.

From blunt bobs dyed dark to long rainbow locks with undercuts, I’ve colored and cut it all in my 15 years behind the chair.
I am also all about the pampering for my guest from body treatments, to reflexology, to lashes; I can help you relax and let your soul glow! I am a certified lash artist as well as an Aveda color master.
When I am not working my magic here at the salon, I am with my beautiful family hiking or doing yoga while hugging a tree and picking up rocks!

“Hey beautiful people! I am a newer stylist born and raised in Shawano Wisconsin, I am ready to pamper anyone who sits in my chair.
I understand how important it is to take time to yourself, anybody of any age or gender need time to relax and feel beautiful! I’m a newer stylist but I know how to make you feel good when you look in the mirror. I offer lots of services including nails, haircutting, hair color, hairstyles and I am slowly starting to offer spa services.
Although all the stylists here are amazing I do a few things different for a small price I do designs on your natural nail. I also love to do updo’s, braids anything in that area. I will always tell you if something will or will not work on your hair.
When I’m not working in the salon I’m most likely with friends or family. I am a dog mom to a handsome Husky named Coco, I am also engaged to my high school sweetheart, we’ve been together since 2018!”

I’m trained in Cranial Sacral Therapy & Reiki and specialize in relaxation massage, custom facials, dermaplaning and body waxing. When I’m not at work you can find me with my 2 kids, 2 dogs & 2 cats – cooking & drinking some wine.”
